An Amateur's Guide to Hacking Blades in the Dark
A downloadable book
There are a lot of amateur and independent game designers right now making
their own tabletop role-playing games based on Blades in the Dark. It is
one of my favourite RPG systems, both to play and to hack. I’ve seen lots of
people curious about how they can start hacking Blades in the Dark to make their own games. They almost always have the same questions and concerns:
Where do I start? What should I do first? What can I change? How much money should I charge for my game?
I wanted to put together some general best practices that I think could guide people and get them started making their first hack. In this guide you'll find 10 tips, as well as links to games and resources that have helped me.
Good luck
